  • "Power Clamping Technology" is a new technology developed by ThermoLab that makes base block, heat pipe and aluminum fins to strongly combine thermally by aligning heat pipe and fins after making minute size groove in the base block then combining through tens of tons of power.
  • By applying Power Clamping Technology, "Nano silencer" not just makes lower noise and miniaturization possible, but also maximizes CPU stability.
  • Through effective integration of PCT (Power Clamping Technology) and Sintered Powder Heat Pipe, difference in performance resulted by installation direction, which is the weakest point of the heat pipe cooler, doesn't occur.

Install for Intel Socket 775

1. Connect the bolt with the insulation washer.

  • As the picture shows, connect the bolt in the package of fixing parts..
2. Installation direction

  • Check if there is interference between the cooler and the parts on the motherboard, and decide the installation direction of the cooler.
  • If there's no interference, we recommend you to install the bending direction of the heat pipe of the cooler towards the direction of RAM slot as the picture on the left shows.
3. Installation of the product

  • As the picture on the left shows, on the rear of the motherboard, fasten lightly the two bolts with the insulation washer in the holes placed diagonally across from each other to lock the cooler clips.
  • Fasten lightly the other two bolts with insulation washer in the holes placed diagonally across from each other to lock the cooler clips.
  • Fasten all the bolts tightly to fix the cooler.
4. Fan Power Connection
  • Connect the connector of the fan installed in the Nano silencer to the CPU fan connector (4pins) on the motherboard.
5. Motherboard BIOS Setting
  • Set PWM control to eanble in the motherboard BIOS. Refer to the motherboard manual as installation instructions depend on motherboard makers.

Install for AMD Socket AM2+/AM2 CPUs

1. In the case of using backplate

  • Remove existing backplate and retention frame which are attached to motherboard.
  • Remove clip for socket 775 of Nano Silencer and fix “⑤ Clip for AM2, AM2+” using “④ Fixing bolts for clip”.
  • Insert the projected parts of “⑦ Backplate”into the holes from the back side of motherboard and then fix it.
  • Set Nano Silencer 2009 on CPU correctly.
  • Tighten “⑧ Fixing bolts for cooler” into the nuts of “⑦ Backplate” slightly using enclosed “⑨ Driver to fix cooler”.
  • Tighten “⑧ Fixing bolts for cooler” sufficiently in turns diagonally.
  • Connect the connector of the fan to the CPU fan connector (4 pins) of motherboard.
2. In the case of not using backplate interrupting by the backside parts of the motherboard.

  • Remove existing backplate and retention frame which are attached to motherboard.
  • Remove clip for socket 775 of Nano Silencer and fix “⑤ Clip for AM2, AM2+” using “④ Fixing bolts for clip”.
  • Set Nano Silencer 2009 on CPU correctly.
  • Combine enclosed a pair of “⑥ Push rivet to fix cooler”.
  • Push “⑥Push rivet to fix cooler” in “⑤ Clip for AM2, AM2+” gently through a hole from the backside motherboard.
  • Tighten “⑥Push rivet to fix cooler” sufficiently in turns diagonally as appeared left picture.
  • Connect the connector of the fan to the CPU fan connector (4 pins) of motherboard.
